At our Home, we feature an in-house Cinema screen, providing Residents with the joy of regular film viewings each week. During these delightful screenings, a selection of snacks, tea, and cake is served right to their seats during the interval, ensuring a truly enjoyable experience. Our comprehensive activities programme runs daily throughout the week, allowing Residents to choose from a variety of engaging events and activities tailored to their interests. Led by our dedicated Activities Co-ordinator, these activities include Chair Yoga, Gardening Club, Scrabble Club, Knit and Natter, and an array of craft pursuits such as flower arranging, painting, and bingo with exciting prizes every week. All planned activities are Resident-led, thanks to the newly established Heathfield Residents Entertainment Group (HREG), who provide invaluable input on the entertainment and activities they wish to see at Heathfield. Beyond garden games and clubs, we also welcome professional entertainers on a regular basis, featuring talented singers, musicians, and guest speakers. Additionally, we organise outings as part of our service, at no extra cost to Residents. Operating as a not-for-profit, any funds raised from raffles and fundraising efforts are reinvested into trips and items for daily activities. Our Home also fosters social interaction through themed events and special celebrations, bringing everyone together to create a warm sense of community and belonging. With a strong focus on well-being and engagement, the activities at Heathfield are thoughtfully designed to enrich the lives of our Residents and create cherished memories.
